When our online store launched, we offered cash on delivery. However, there were several occasions when ordered parcels were not collected. In such cases, our online store had to bear the full shipping cost – both the outbound and return shipping fees – even though the order was not completed.
In the long term, these additional costs were not compatible with our goal of offering our customers attractive prices and predictable operations. Although we tried to use flexible solutions, unfortunately these were also abused, so we permanently discontinued cash-on-delivery shipping.
